This weekend is the USAG championship meet. Navy currently leads the pack going into the championship, followed by William & Mary and Air Force respectively. However, Air Force’s top score this season is just one tenth behind Navy’s top score. These are the top three contenders for the conference title, but look out for the tight competition between Army and Greenville too. All in all, it’s sure to be a big, exciting weekend.

The all-around title will also be awarded based on the results of Day 1. Going into this weekend, Erich Upton (Air Force), Luke Tully (William & Mary), and Brian Solomon (Navy) are the only athletes who have competed the all-around in USAG this season. It doesn’t mean there may not be other contenders, but as of right now those three are the most probable competitors. Erich Upton has a good lead in average and high school, but Luke Tully and Brian Solomon will certainly be battling for 2nd.

March 29  (1pm ET): USAG Championships Day 2 (Event finals)

Day 2 of the competition will be the event finals. Until we see prelims, it’s hard to say what to expect, but it’s hard to imagine Patty Hoopes (Air Force) wouldn’t win the pommel horse title. Isaiah Drake (Navy) has a good lead on the competition for the still rings title. Erich Upton has a lead in the parallel bars field. The remaining events are tighter.
