The High Bar final concluded today and Oka Shinnosuke (JPN) has been named the Olympic High Bar Champion. Angel Barajas (COL) clinched the silver and Zhang Boheng (CHN) and Tang Chia-Hung (TPE) tied for bronze.

Oka Shinnosuke earned his second Olympic gold at the games in the High Bar final. Barajas had a .7 difficulty lead on Oka, but Oka’s clean gymnastics won the day, breaking their tie by execution. Oka and Barajas were also the two gymnasts not to fall during the competition.

Zhang Boheng and Tang Chia-Hung achieved their own notable accomplishment: an unbroken tie. Because they earned the same exact difficulty and execution scores, their tie remained intact. The two shared the podium, winning bronze.
