2024 Paris Olympics Men’s Gymnastics Watch Guide

Your Complete Guide to the Men's Gymnastics Events at the 2024 Paris Olympics

July 22, 2024

The 2024 Paris Olympics will kick off on July 26th with the Opening Ceremonies, followed by gymnastics competitions from July 27th to August 5th. There are eight medal events: Team, All-Around, and the six apparatus. The Olympics will conclude with the Closing Ceremonies on August 11th.

Japan and China return to the Games as the defending silver and bronze team medalists. The reigning Olympic team gold medalists–the Russian Olympic Committee–will not be in Paris due to an ongoing ban by the IOC and FIG in relation to their involvement in the war in Ukraine.

Notably, five of the six individual Olympic champions from Tokyo have returned to defend their titles. (There are seven individual events, but Hashimoto Daiki of Japan claimed two titles in Tokyo.) The returning champions include Hashimoto Daiki from Japan in the all-around and high bar, Artem Dolgopyat of Israel on floor exercise, Max Whitlock of Great Britain on pommel horse, Liu Yang of China on rings, and Zou Jingyuan of China on parallel bars.

Below, we have listed the competing athletes, live scores and video links, and the full competition schedule.

Who’s Competing

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will feature 96 gymnasts–12 teams of five and 36 individuals representing 38 different NOCs. Among the athletes are multiple Olympic champions, as well as athletes who are the first from their country to compete at the games–such as two-time pommel horse world medalist Ahmad Abu Al-Soud of Jordan.
